Breakfast is French toast and coffee this morning. Ummm good!

Several times this week I have happened upon the scene of an accident on the highway just after it has happened. The other day it was a car sitting on it's side in the ditch. This morning there was a car sitting cross-ways in the middle lane of I35 and other cars on the side of the road. I don't wish any bad thing on anyone, but I am very thankful that I was delayed enough each time to not be involved in the action!

Now I have sticky fingers, but breakfast sure was good!

Good Morning Gary!!!
French toast sounds yummy, I just had yucky old regular toast;-)
It served its purpose though.;-)

Too bad about seeing the wrecks, but glad you weren't involved.*S*

Now! Go wash those hands;-) *smiling*

Have a good day, Gary!

Re: Good Morning Gary!!!
Morning Jo and good afternoon too! :-) I used to go down for breakfast more often, but lately I've just made oatmeal in the microwave near my desk. I always try to eat a good breakfast. I think it's the most important meal of the day.

The last accident I happended on, just over a year ago, I was almost involved in. The car ahead of me was head-oned by a guy who drifted over the center line, and she didn't know what to do. I was the first to reach her and her daughter. It was not fun.

I don't imagine it was. Fortunately in both of my cases there were plenty of people stopped already. They were both on divided highways so all the traffic was one way. Those head-on accidents can be very bad!

I saw one
Last week I saw a bad accident as it happened. A huge dump truck pulled out in front of a suburban. The speed limit for that particular road is 65 miles per hour and the suburban more than likely had the cruise control set at that or maybe 70.

There were two dead and a third very seriously injured in that suburban. I found out later that the two dead was the mother and uncle of a former co-worker. That was such a senseless tragedy.
