Ouch!
I am really not liking what my head is doing to me today. I've got one of those back-of-the-head headaches and my head feels all fuzzy. I figure it's the after affects of the codeine, but I don't remember it being this bad before! I call it my codeine hangover. For the record, I have never been drunk, and thus, I have never had a classic hangover. This is not especially to my credit, but has something to do with my alcoholic father in all likelihood. I can't say I totally abstain from alcohol, but my usage is very infrequent and I feel I am in a pretty healthy place with it, considering my childhood.

I don't know what got me to thinking about that, but I just have to say this: I will not take any more codeine cough syrup, I will not take any more codeine cough syrup, I will not take any more codeine cough syrup, I will not take any more codeine cough syrup, I will not take any more codeine cough syrup, I will not take any more codeine cough syrup, codeine cough syrup, I will not take any more codeine cough syrup!

Sorry, I had to do that! :-) Maybe eating lunch will help make me feel better.

Excedrin Migraine.

They sure seem to work for all my headaches, where tylenol falls short.

I hope you get to feeling better quickly.

No more codeine my friend!
It's no good to you, if it replaces one problem with another, right?!

Hope eating your lunch helps wash it out of your system faster...:-)

I heard that excedrine migraine is actually the same ingrediants as regular excederine.

Losing sleep from coughing is almost as bad as this!

Lunch did help a bit. Food is always a good idea! Well, almost always. :-)

You may have heard, right!
I couldn't say...Never bothered to look.

However, if indeed that is the case, I'll be buying the regular.

I'll know for sure the next time I buy it, as you can be certain, I'll check & see!

Food usually don't lead me astray either...*laughing*

Hope you're feeling a little better by now!?

Re: You may have heard, right!
I am still feeling a bit strange, but mostly better. I just returned from a retirement party for a friend here at work. More food! :-) My headache is gone, but my head still feels sorta fuzzy. I think this is definitely a message to me. Leave that stuff alone! :-)

On the excerine, I think it was my wife the nurse who told me and believe me, she reads the labels! :-) Does the migraine version more?

Re: You may have heard, right!
That's a good enough source for me.

Yes!
It cost considerably more than reg. strength, if I am remembering correctly!

Hey! It's Friday!
I'll just bet that alone is enough to make you feel a bit better too!

Have a wonderful wknd. Gary!

Yes, Friday helps quite a bit. Reading my last, I'm surprised you could understand it. I was thinking faster than I was typing obviously! :-)

You have a good weekend too Jo!

Hey Gary
Too bad about the codeine giving your head such a rough time the other day. Hope the weekend has been much better to you.

Re: Hey Gary
Thanks Audis! Friday was just the push I needed to leave the codeine behind and I am doing well without it!
