Good morning
I would have liked to have gone back to sleep this morning, but I resisted the urge and got up instead. It's a chilly 44 degrees this morning and it's supposed to reach 75 this afternoon with lots of sun.

I need to shop for a watch this afternoon. I don't know what it is with me and those rubber/plastic watch bands, but I have broken two within the period of a month. I got one watch band fixed and found out the battery was going. We broke the watch trying to get the battery out! I started using my old watch and now the band is broken on that. I think I'll look for a watch with a metal band. :-)

I hope everyone has a great day. It's almost Friday!

Yes, Autumn has arrived with the chilly mornings and great daytime temps.

Good luck on your watch hunting! I'll be anxious to see what you purchased.

Re:
Thanks. My skin seems to put out some kind of oil that attacks the band.

I love the cold mornings. Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons.

Re:
Well, you are all set then! I think I like Spring and Fall best, with Summer next. Winter is dead last for me. :-)

good morning
Watches break if you like time to fly. Stop throwing your watch Friday will come soon enough.

Re: good morning
LOL, you are correct. :-) And yes, time does seem to fly, even when I don't throw my watch!

i suggest...
find a good watch you like, then take the band off and replace it with something velcro. (i've seen Christian velcro watchbands at Wal-Mart, in the watch department.)

Re: i suggest...
Hmmm....velcro? That would probably be a nylon base. That might work. I'll look into it and thanks for the suggestion!

Ah, winter is almost here. Late fall and the winter are my two favorite times of the year. 19 years ago the heat took me out. I didn't have a full blown heat stroke, but I came as close to having one as one could without actually having it. I've never been able to fully recover from it and now the late spring and summer heat as well as the early fall heat deal me a lot of misery. So these cooler temps are just the thing for me.

Hope you find the watch that you want. The last two that I have bought are the Timex Indiglo's. For someone that is a cheap scap such as myself.....LOL, they are an excellent buy. With the twist-a-flex bands they are easy to repair when they break.

Friday! Great goboldy goo, you are right, it's almost Friday and I won't be on stand by...LOL. Hope you are having a terrrific day Gary.

Re:
Not too bad thanks, except for the work news that I wrote about in my journal.
