I did your test...
I'm a beginner geek....haha

I sent you a message in your deadjournal yesterday.
I am guessing you don't go there anymore.:-/

How are ya?
Just wanted to stop by and say HOWDY!

Re: I did your test...
Hi Jo! No, I haven't checked over there at deadjournal for quite some time now. I would have, if I knew you were leaving me a message.

I'm doing well and still trying to lose some weight, as you can tell, if you've read any of this journal. I am actually losing a now, but such a long way to go. My BP is down into a good range and I've talked the doctor into lowering my BP meds a bit.

How are you and your family? Are you back to LJ or just sort of back?

Re: I did your test...
YAY!! for you! Losing weight at our age is definitely a GREAT accomplishment!:-)
Way to go!*S* I'm very happy for you!

Yes! I've read your journal. I tried to keep up even though I wasn't on LJ.

Once your bitten by the bug, you itch to write again. LOL
Not even deadjournal can replace LJ.;-)

It seems to do me good to purge all my negative thoughts in type...
The good thoughts get on here too though.

Family...How's yours doing?
Mine is, well, okay.....
Hubby and I are fine.
The teens are driving me nuts though. :-)

I have a journal again, just a different name is all.
I can't recall how long I've had it, but know that I had to get a paid acct. cause I couldn't stand the slow servers. I'm spoiled!

Re: I did your test...
I went over and read some on your new LJ. What can I say on your teens troubles? Our experiences with teens was not the best either! Now Abigail has been the "perfect" teen. We've not had a bit of trouble from her. :-) It's hard to believe she will be 20 this Fall.

I notice you don't have anyone on your list. I would like to add you to mine, but don't want to cause you any distress, so let me know your inclination on that please!

Re: I did your test...
WoW! 20!:-)
No trouble is great, I'd think!

I think the pics on my page are viewable again...
Silly virtue.nu suspended my webpage.
Scuse me if I was too dumb to figure out how to make one.
I did good to get my pics linked.
But, unfortunately, with them, that's a No-No!

16 is such a tough age!
I remember it all too well.
I was married at 16. Too young!
My son is actually nothing like me at that age though.
He's way disrespectful of his Dad & I.
I always kept my tongue with my parents, probably because I thought he'd cut it out if I said something smart aleck! LOL
Not that my Dad ever hit me...he didn't, but he beat the hell out of the twins & my sister.
Nobody deserves to be beat like they were.
My Dad was an army man/very strict.
My sis & the twins were disrespectful jerks though.

Anyway....

Add me very carefully!
*smiling*
I don't want you to lose any of your friends cause of adding me.
The choice is up to you.
I'll be around here whatever you decide, okay?

So....
Have a nice Friday!
Oh! and it's nice to converse with you again.

Re: I did your test...
If you've done any reading in my friend's list, you'll have seen that it is pretty diverse. So far, I've not had any problems with one person. I sounds like you believe you're a trouble maker or something! I have no reservations on adding you, other than those which you have expressed before about your comfort level with others reading your entries.

It's good to visit with you again too Jo. :-)

Re: I did your test...
Replying via e-mail is a pain...lol
I always forget & reply in the box & it deletes it...

I may be many things, but a troublemaker, I'm not.
I left LJ due to feeling repressed.
That was MY problem, not anybody else's.
That was just the way I dealt with it at the time.

In saying that, let me say this too.
I no longer feel that way.
I have the right to my opinions, as do others.
If they don't agree with me, they have that right...but I'll no longer squelch what I think because of somebody on someone else's list.

Besides, we all have the friend's feature & the private one...
If I choose to write where nobody else can read it, I'll make use of that function as will they, I'm sure:-)

I hate it when that happens! :-)

I agree with everything you are saying! There are so many on-line journal type sites these days, but LJ is the only one I've seen with this many security features and different ways to allow/restrict who can read it.
