It's 50 degrees and raining this morning. The rain is supposed to stay all day and the radio said we might go down a degree or two during the day. I guess we need the rain. This week we cut our grass for the first time this year.

I'm ready for a weekend, I don't know about you! I hope everyone's day goes well so we can move on into the weekend!

Good morning Gary. My yard is sooooo wet that I still can't mow it and it needs mowing very bad.

Re:
Good morning Audis! You've probably been cutting your lawn most of the year, haven't you? That's one good part of Winter here, the grass stops growing for a few months!

Usually we stop mowing grass at the end of November and start mowing again around the first week of March. This year has been a little colder so the grass did really start to kick in until about the second week of March but the yard is so wet that I can't mow it. Down on the Gulf coast they never stop mowing the grass.

Happy Weekend
Hi Gary,
I meant to get back to your comment (already it's been a few weeks I think...)
At any rate, wanted to say congrats and getting your contract extended. I was really happy to see that post :-)

Thanks for your posts about the war (I mean as far as the 'you should read this' stuff). The article about the Assyrian was excellent.

To answer your question about things here, things are going well here. It's been a tough ride waiting for papers, and even now we will know nothing, but God has been faithful, he is leading us to do things here, so it's good.

How are things going there? Sorry about the rain, but at least it's Friday.
God bless!
Julie

Re: Happy Weekend
Hi Julie! It's good to hear from you again.

The constant quest for papers seems to be quite common in missionary circles. I can remember hearing many stories while we were at YWAM and since our Father God was involved, the endings were usually good! The not knowing is sometimes hard, but just as with our contract situation here, God will provide a way!

I am always happy to pass along the good articles! I usually don't find them myself. I think Bandicoot on my friends list has found most of them!

Things are good here! Working with my mother's memory loss is sometimes a trial, but God gives us grace! As far as the rain goes, at least it's not snow! :-)
