Let me see if I can help Patty!

First, go to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/emailpost.bml

and put any email addresses which you want to be authorized to send to your journal via email. This would be your personal email address.

In the PIN field put an number or number/letter password of at least 4 chars in length.

Click the save button.

Next go to http://www.livejournal.com/manage/emailpost.bml?mode=help

This page will be configured to show you what you need to put in the To:, From and Subject fields to make the email to LJ conversion. You LJ entry would go in the body of the email.
