good morning
Saturday I went with Jacob to our Indian Buffet. They didn't seem to have as much variety as they usually do, but it was good anyway. Our weather has warmed up a little, so it's almost normal for late Summer in Kansas.

Sunday we went to church and took lunch to my mother's afterward. The weekend was too short as usual and it was over just when I was getting used to it! :-)

Today we may have someone observing all day. We will see. Maybe they will come late and leave early! At least I can hope.

I hope everyone has a great day today! I'm going to go read about your weekend now, before anyone arrives!

Good morning Gary!

Glad to hear you had a good weekend. I am hoping that this weather will warm up a little, it's supposed to be around 80 here today. I sure am looking forward to some warmth!

Have a great day!

Hugs, Amy

Thanks Amy! It sure sounded like this week would put us back to the normal range!

** Our weather has warmed up a little, so it's almost normal for late Summer in Kansas.**

Yeah! Ours too!:-(

Did they come today?
How long did they stay?

Hope your evening is a nice one.
We've really been enjoying the cooler morning temperatures.
We've even broke a couple of records, one dating back to the 1930's.:-)

They never showed and I was just as happy. Their boss is going out of town for a couple of weeks on Thursday and she says she won't push them until she returns. So we may have a few more days of solitude! :-)

Yeah, the cool mornings are nice. We broke a record too last week I think. I'm not sure how far back it went, but 49 or 50 degrees in August is pretty rare!

Pam is working today and this evening, so I am alone. Abigail is in bed and sleeping I hope!

I'll bet you were!
Cool! A few more free days!:-)

49 or 50 is really chilly for August!

I was reading where you got to vist with your daughter.
That's good!:-)
I'll bet Abigail enjoys her too.

Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you last night.
My time on here is limited even more with the start of school.
We have to eat early & I have to get Landon in bed earlier too.
I end up playing catchup by the end of the day. *smiles*

Landon came home & I could tell he'd been crying yesterday.
He kind of whined when he saw me when the bus arrived.
I know he's having a rough go of it, but hopefully, he'll comply & things will get easier for him.
It's good that everything is so structured.
He goes in class, puts away his backpack, sits on the floor, waits to say the pledge & then goes to breakfast.
That's the only part I was privvy to, as I stayed long enough the first couple of days to see it.
I'd imagine the 2nd half is about the same though.

Some days for me are better than others.:-)
You know how depression is.
I'm hoping that everything one day will just fall back into place.:-)

Well, I hope your day has been good to you!
I guess I need to let Matt get on here & check his mail now.
I hope to catch you again afterwhile, if you're around.

Hi Jo! Well, I sure hope Landon gets the hang of the his school routine!

Don't work about getting back to me. I know that you have a lot going on sometimes!

Yes, Abigail always enjoys when big sister comes for a visit!
