good morning
We got quite the little rain storm yesterday afternoon! The temps dropped quickly into the 50's and think they are still in the 60's this morning. It looks like the weekend will be nice and we will have clear weather for our church picnic this Sunday.

I hope everyone has a good Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Mornin'
Oh! How I wish that cool front was going to make it this far.
Well, I think they said it will, but all we're going to get from it is rain, heat & humidity.
Yesterday it was raining & the sun was shining, it felt like a sauna!

I am so dreading the whole driver's license renewal experience.
I've never liked it & the worse my eyesight gets, the more I dislike it & worry I won't pass the test & that would be devastating.
I think I have a couple more years though.
So, I'll put off that worry till later! hehe!

Have a great day, Gary!
I'm so glad it's Friday!

Re: Mornin'
Good morning Jo!

While I was waiting in line there was an older man at the counter. He was probably in his 70's. I could tell he was having problems with the eye test as the woman behind the count asked him to switch to another test machine and finally she had to tell him he failed the test! Of course, here in Kansas, you can go to an eye doctor and get checked and they can certify that you are ok to drive. I felt so bad for him though.

Re: Mornin'
It can absolutely put a halt to one's life!
That is very sad!
I hope he can get his eye Dr. to pass him.
I don't know if that is done here or not, but I have a feeling I may very well find out soon enough for me.:-)

Re: Mornin'
I would imagine they do. I think the main reason is to eliminate the possibility that nerves might cause you to have trouble with their testing machines.

Re: Mornin'
hehe!
Yeah! Well, I'm awfully nervous when I walk into that place!
I can see where that could happen!

It was funny the last time I went the lady asked me how tall I was.
Well, when I met hubby I was 5'4 so I figured I had grown atleast 4", so I told her 5'8 & she said, No way, get over there & stand by the wall, sure enough, I was only 5'51/2".
Dang!:-)
