Are you Addicted to the Internet?

64%

Hardcore Junkie (61% - 80%)
While you do get a bit of sleep every night and sometimes leave the house, you spend as much time as you can online. You usually have a browser, chat clients, server consoles, and your email on auto check open at all times. Phone? What's that? You plan your social events by contacting your friends online. Just be careful you don't get a repetitive wrist injury...

I added you to mine and I look forward to getting to know you better! What ages are your daughters?

Hi...Patriot said you might be able to help me. I use Mozilla Thunderbird for email...it won't let me post to journal from the email. I have to go to the journal itself to answer. Is there a setting in the Mozilla that I need to change?
thanks
Deb

Hi Deb! I wish I had a good answer for you, but I have to go to the web to make my replies. I miss being able to reply from the email, but I won't go back to IE for that. I tried everything I could think of an could not get Mozilla Thunderbird to give LJ what it needed. I like Thunderbird anyway!

you are so right on that Gary....I have had less trouble with Thunderbird than IE..don't want to go back there.
Thanks for taking the time to answer...hope you don't care if I read in your journal..*smile*.

I don't mind at all Deb. In fact, if you are all right with Audis, then you are all right with me too. I will add you to my list so you can read it all and I'll look forward to getting to know you!

I see that from your user info that you are disabled. My daughter, almost 23 now, is disabled with cerebral palsy.

thanks Gary...I added you too and look forward to reading.
Yes, I am disabled...have been on disability since 96 but had problems from the time I was 32...am 56 now. I walk with canadian crutches limited...and use a scooter the rest of the time...have autoimmune diseases...sarcoidosis, fibromyalgia..which have caused COPD, heart, kidney, etc. problems. I am the proverbial pollyanna...*smile*...and just keep on trucking. I won't say my posts don't ever show any sadness cause they do...especially when my pain peaks high...but I try to keep focused on other things. Am very close to the Lord...and that shows in my posts alot too.
Talk later...and thanks again.
Deb

That's quite a list! I'm so glad to hear that you know the Lord. I know that He can more than make up for anything that comes against us. I don't entirely understand why He allows us to go through these things, but I think of Job. Job's faith was strong and God allowed him to be tested many times. Finally, Job was blessed many times over.

I know my wife and I are blessed to have Abigail. Who knows where we would be if we did not have her to bless us. We have to do almost everything for her, but the joy in having her a part of our lives more than makes up for it.

OH yes...I would never be able to make it without the Lord. Inspite of all that is wrong...He still carries me through it all.
