a sad week

Some of you may remember me asking for prayer for Mary Fry, our pastor's wife who was battling cancer. The Lord called Mary home this past Wednesday.

While death for a Christian is never a bad thing, it's still a sad event for those who are left behind. Pam and I have known the Frys for almost 30 years. We will surely miss Mary and I know her home will seem empty to her family without her presence. She leaves our pastor and her four five sons.

The funeral/life celebration will be tomorrow.

early shift

My first day on the 6:00am-2:30pm shift went pretty well. I had to move into a new desk that I share with a 3:00pm-11:00pm sift person. He did not know I was coming, so I was not able to move my stuff. I still managed to get some cusomter support done today, both email and phone.

The day went by so fast! I'm not used to my break times though, so I worked right through my afternoon break. I took it late then had only 15 mnutes until quit time. :-p

I hope everyone's day has been bless!

changes soon...

I go on my 6:00 am to 2:30 pm shift next week. Well, for two days I do and then I'm on vacation the rest of the week.

Yesterday I got to pick where I will be moving. I have to share a desk with a 3 pm to 11 pm shift person. The desk I chose has someone I like and he keeps a really organized desk, so I think we'll get along.

Today I get some training on the new email and support package we go two weeks ago, since I will be doing more email support on the new shift.

I hope everyone has a great day and a wonderful weekend!
